Seconds Behind CHIP Second mortgages may be registered behind a CHIP reverse mortgage up to 65% combined LTV. The combined LTV is measured using the projected mortgage balance at the end of the term, providing an equity-access option for retired homeowners whom many lenders may not consider. ONTARIO LENDING PROGRAMS Residential Mortgages First and second mortgages are available on residential properties throughout Ontario’s urban and suburban markets. AAREA considers bridge financing, debt-consolidation opportunities and purchases that traditional banks may have declined at the eleventh hour. No Payment Mortgages Interest can be prepaid or accrued, meaning the borrower makes no monthly mortgage payments during the term. This structure can be an excellent fit for equity-rich but income-light borrowers, including professionals between contracts, estates in transition and homeowners with renovations underway. Commercial Mortgages AAREA finances both owner-occupied and investment commercial properties in Ontario. Brokers communicate directly with the underwriter from the initial review through to funding, keeping the process clear and efficient.
